According to Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis - who spoke last night at the Oxford Union - the headliners for this years Reading and Leeds Festivals include The Darkness and The White Stripes.

Although of course Michael isn't involved with Reading and Leeds Festivals - and he's sometimes given incorrect information about who are playing his own festival - he is in the sort of position where he'd be likely to get to know who is playing where.

The tickets for this year's events, to be held from Friday 27th - Sunday 29th August at Richfield Avenue, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds cost £105 for the weekend, including camping and car parking. A limited pre-release of weekend tickets are available to buy now.
