T in the Park 2004

According to a report in today's Daily Record, The Pixies have been signed to play on the Main Stage on the Saturday at this year's T in the Park, before David Bowie.

The article quotes organiser Geoff Ellis as saying: "This is the band every other band on the bill will want to see because they are a band's band as well as having been hugely popular."

As well as David Bowie, The Darkness and Muse are also confirmed. Many other acts will be confirmed over the coming months.

T in the Park takes place at Balado near Kinross on 10th and 11th July. Weekend tickets are on sale at the "early bird" prices of £70 for both days, and £83 for both days with camping. Day tickets are expected to be on sale at some point.
