Reading Festival 2003

The line-ups for the Carling Stage have been announced, with a whole raft of "new" bands (and Billy Bragg;-), and including bands with members of Beck, QOTSA, and Foo Fighters, as well as an Austrian Duke whose assassination sparked a world war and the death of millions .

Friday at Reading and Saturday at Leeds has: The Mark Lanegan Band (Reading ONLY), Sparta, The Black Keys, McLusky, Jackson, Vue, The Hiss, Rocket Science, Franz Ferdinand, The Blueskins, and Colour of Fire.

Saturday at Reading and Sunday at Leeds has: Billy Bragg, Brendan Benson, The Bandits, Soledad Brothers, The Sights, The Sons, Ima Robot, The Revs, The Sun, Whirlwind Heat, The Go, and The Agenda.

Sunday at Reading and Friday at Leeds has: British Sea Power, Manitoba, Hope Of The States, Har Mar Superstar, Longview, Calla, Instruction, Winnebago Deal, The Stills, Keane, White Light Motorcade, Cardia, and The Prosaics.

Both the Reading and Leeds Festivals have a line-up that includes Linkin Park, Blur, Metallica, Blink 182, Placebo, The White Stripes, Beck, Doves, System of a Down, Sum 41, Primal Scream, and loads more already announced, with more still to be added. Reading Festival takes place over the August Bank Holiday weekend of Friday 22nd August until Sunday 24 August along with the simultaneous Leeds Festival.

Reading Festival takes place Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, nr Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Tickets are priced at £95 for the weekend (including camping) and £40 for any day. Weekend tickets for Reading are already sold out, and day tickets are selling very fast.
