The White Stripes have been added to T in the Park, taking place at Balado, near Kinross, Scotland on Saturday 12 July until Sunday 13 July.

They'll play the Main Stage on Saturday, alongside R.E.M. and others.

Also new is a new stage - the X Tent - that will feature Athlete, Cosmic Rough Riders, Har Mar Superstar, Kings of Leon, The Zutons, The Rain Band (plus 4 more bands) on Satuday, and The Rapture, Tom McRae, OK GO, Ron Sexsmith, The All American Rejects, Kinesis, Funeral for a Friend, Myslovitz (plus 2 other bands) on Sunday.
