Jay Z, Lostprophets ...

By Neil Greenway | Published:

More bands have been added to the Reading and Leeds festivals, which both take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend of Friday 22nd August until Sunday 24 August.

Making his only UK festival appearances this summer is rapper Jay Z. He's to play before Placebo on the Main Stage (Reading - Friday, Leeds - Saturday). Also added to the Main Stage are Finch and Bowling for Soup.

Getting you to move your feet will be Junior Senior, who play the Main Stage alongside Blur, White Stripes, Beck, Doves, The Streets and The Libertines (Reading - Saturday, Leeds - Sunday).

And added to the Main Stage for the day headlined by Metallica (Reading - Sunday, Leeds - Friday) - which is already very nearly sold out - are Lostprophets and The Used.

There's still loads of bands to be added to the Main Stage, as well as the Radio 1 Stage, plus announcements for the Carling, Dance and Concrete Jungle Stages. For the confirmed acts and the rumours click here for Reading and here for Leeds.

Reading Festival takes place as usual at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Rd, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Temple Newsam Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Tickets are priced at £95 for the weekend (including camping) and £40 for any day.
