Primals, Libertines, Interpol and more

More bands have been added to the Reading and Leeds festivals, which both take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend of Friday 22nd August until Sunday 24 August. More day and stage information has also been released.

Joining Linkin Park and Blink 182 on the Main Stage (Reading - Friday, Leeds - Saturday) are Placebo and The Datsuns. The Radio 1 Stage has The Polyphonic Spree, Elbow, Interpol and Electric Six.

Alongside Blur and the White Stripes (Reading - Saturday, Leeds - Sunday) are Beck, Doves, The Streets and The Libertines. AFI play last on the Radio 1 Stage, with Hundred Reasons, The Cooper Temple Clause and The Mars Volta.

And with Metallica and System of a Down (Reading - Sunday, Leeds - Friday) are Sum 41, Primal Scream, Courtney Love and Good Charlotte, while The Music, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Hot Hot Heat are on the Radio 1 Stage.

Reading Festival takes place as usual at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Rd, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Temple Newsam Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Tickets are priced at £95 for the weekend (including camping) and £40 for any day.
