The major acts for Guilfest - the 3 day festival that takes place at Stoke Park, Guildford on 4th-6th July - have been revealed.

Friday has snake-wielding legend Alice Cooper, and Love with Arthur Lee; Saturday sees those nutty boys Madness take the stage; and Sunday has Atomic Kitten and The Mavericks.

There are of course many more acts to still be announced. As well as the Main Stage, they'll be the Uncut Magazine Stage, the Dance Tent and the LiveClub Unsung Heroes Stage (which features new and unsigned bands, plus the chance for festival go-ers to bring along an instrument and book themselves in for a slot), and The Comedy Tent (sponsored by eFestivals!). There is also the Kids Zone - expanded this year to make this the best festival to take kids to.

The festival is sponsored by Radio 2, and will be recorded for later broadcast.

Tickets are priced at £64 for the weekend (camping £25 per tent extra); Day tickets: Friday £27, Saturday £32, Sunday £30; Children under 7's FREE; Under 15's weekend £40, day £20; campervans £40. Click here to buy online.
