Much to the relief of fans of both Red Hot Chili Peppers and Feeder, who'd been fearing that they'd both be playing at the same time - leaving a very difficult choice to be made - it's been confirmed by the promoters that fans will have the opportunity to see both.

The statement reads: "Just to put everyone's minds at rest, there is NO clash between Red Hot Chili Peppers and Feeder at The V Festival this year.

The promoters are very aware of the likelihood that ticket holders would want to see both of these acts and as such have placed them apart on the line-up."

V Festival takes place at both Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex, and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of 16th/17th August.

Confirmed bands include headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers and Coldplay, as well as Foo Fighters, David Gray, PJ Harvey, Queens Of The Stone Age, Ash, Underworld, Feeder, Morcheeba, The Hives, The Roots and more, with yet still more to be added over the coming months. For the line-up so far, click here.

Tickets are priced at £42.50 for either day, or £75 for both days (with NO camping, £90 for both days WITH camping. Campervans cost £30. Camping tickets for Chelmsford are sold out. All ticket types are still available for Weston Park, Staffordshire, and day and weekend (without camping) are still available for Hylands Park, Chelmsford.

NOTE: Campervans - Customers purchasing a camper van pass must already have a weekend and camping ticket. There is a maximum of 4 people allowed into each camper van, all of whom need to have a weekend and camping ticket.
