Silverchair have confirmed they are pulling out of all UK performances this year - which was to include their scheduled appearance at V2002. This is due to the illness of lead singer Daniel Johns. A replacement act will be announced in the next few weeks.

V2002 say that tickets are selling extremely well, exceeding all expectations from previous V's.

Tickets cost £67.50 for the weekend, £80 for the weekend with camping, and day tickets are £39.50 (note that anyone arriving in a campervan needs a special £30 ticket for access to the car parks).
