The Hives confirmed for Reading & Leeds

The Hives have been confirmed as the "special guests", playing the Main Stage at Reading on Saturday, and at Leeds on Sunday.

They join bands already confirmed for the Main Stage such as The Strokes, Foo Fighters and Prodigy.

Announced for the Evening Session Stage are The Breeders and Electric Soft Parade, joining Feeder at Reading on Friday, and Leeds on Saturday.

For the same stage at Reading on Saturday and Leeds on Sunday, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are joined by Jimmy eat World, Cooper Temple Clause, Mars Volta and Rival Schools.

Tickets are on sale now, priced at £90 for the weekend (including camping), while tickets for any day are priced at £39.

The Reading Festival takes place at Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berks. The Leeds Festival takes place at Temple Newsam, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Both take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th August.
