Even though NME.com reported earlier this week that the organisers of the Reading and Leeds festivals would not move The Strokes to the Main stage, they have! The Strokes where booked for the Evening Session stage back in February and since then their profile has risen a lot. The Evening session tent only has a capacity of 8, 000 and it was expected that people wanting to see The Strokes would greatly exceed this number.

Also through the grape vine this week we have heard rumours that So Solid Crew, D12 and Eminem where all pulling out but it's been confirmed by organisers that they will all be appearing at the festivals this weekend.
