Homelands safe from Home

business as usual

By eFestivals Newsroom | Published:

Following the revelation that the owners of London's Home nightclub has gone into receivership, a statement has been issued by Mean Fiddler to reassure that there will be no effect on Homelands.

"It's business as usual for homelands - homelands is not in doubt", comments Mean Fiddler Managing Director, Melvin Benn. "It is a Mean Fiddler administered and operated event. Darren Hughes and home have always programmed the musical style and DJs for the event and will continue to do so. We at the Mean Fiddler will continue to plan the festival and operate the business side in the way that we always have and homelands has no vulnerability as a result of the difficulties that the Big Beat Group have found themselves in."

The festival takes place on 26th May at Matterley Bowl, Nr. Winchester, with Pulp and Orbital co-headlining and The Orb, Artful Dodger playing live with DJs Pete Tong, Carl Cox, Sasha, Danny Tenaglia, Judge Jules, Richie Hawtin and 50,000 clubbers in 12 individually themed Arenas.
