Eminem: Reading, Leeds and Glasgow Green?

the full lowdown

By Neil Greenway | Published:

According to the Radio 1 website, Eminem "was scheduled to appear at the Reading, Leeds and Glasgow Green Festivals, but the two year probation he received last night will stop him from leaving the country."

However, that's not strictly true - he has to get the courts permission to leave the country. We're not sure about how US law works, but if it was the UK, some allowance would be made to allow him to carry on with his normal work.

The report also states that Eminem is to appear in court again on 23rd April on a further charge. The press office for Reading/Leeds has stated that no official line-ups would be released before 23rd April, due to problems connected with signing up headline acts.

Now, it could just be co-incidence with those dates, but with Eminem already having pulled out of last years festival, it's unlikely that Mean Fiddler would book him again for the same thing to happen. Watch this space!
