The Glitterati : Rock City, Nottingham 27th April 2004

REVIEW

By Luke Seagrave | Published:

Opening for Therapy? and The Wildhearts is no easy task. However, opening band The Glitterati did an amazing job of impressing the crowd, sadly it was still only half full - and so the people that weren’t there missed an exciting up and coming new band which are rumoured to be the next big thing.

Their songs are full on, in your face rock, accompanied with overdriven guitars and grand choruses. The Glitterati seem to have the same stage mannerisms that the band Jet possess. They certainly know how to warm a crowd up.

There is no denying that these lads enjoy being on the stage and are full of enthusiasm, although to be honest all of the bands that were playing tonight seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves.

The Glitterati are certainly worth checking out when they play the Download festival.
