The Ga Ga's : Nottingham Rock City, 16th November 2003

REVIEW

By Luke Seagrave | Published:

The Ga Ga's are a refreshing change to the current music scene. They're vibrant, energetic and have lots of great songs. Their Debut single 'Breaking America' is an instant crowd pleaser.

They've mastered all of the cheesy poses that bands like Bon Jovi used to do in the eighties. If anything, this could be their downfall, as they give the impression that they are just imitating lots of bands from the past.

The Ga Ga's

They included a track entitled 'Sex' which went down well, but you just get the impression that someone like Marilyn Manson would be better suited to performing that type of track.

Despite this lack of innovation, The Ga Ga's are extremely enjoyable to watch. I shall look forward to seeing them again soon - hopefully they'll be playing at festivals next year.
