  1. Rather than quote everything you said in the last few posts, I'll just quote this and say how much I agree.

This is glastonbury folks, don't go there expecting it to be some sort of magical wonderland where everything goes your way. YOU have to adapt. It is like what people said about weather, there is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing.

The festival did it's bit to keep infrastructure working and succeeded (toilets got emptied, heavy mud in key areas got woodchipped or hay laid down, ambulances, landrovers and litter/toilet trucks were able to get around) and due to the weather in the first half of the festival it was heavy going for some, but YOU adapt, YOU work around it, you don't just sit there stropping that someone else isn't making it better for you.

I had a great time, not everyone was brilliant, but I was :P I met lots of great people, spent time with friends, checked out a few bands, some comedy and chilled where I like to chill most. I saw the kind of people who were obviously unhappy and it was obviously because what their expectations were were wholly unrealistic about what glastonbury delivers. This is festivalling, this is what it entails, if it isn't for you then see you, your spot will be taken up by someone else next time. Sorry if you don't like that, but that is it.

  2. Sadly with the rate at which the chairs are proliferating, I suspect the moans on here will soon be about haveing to get up at 8AM to get a good chair spot, like with your towels on the beach lounger on your hols as opposed to the chairs themselves!

  3. Glastonbury is going down the drain....going to absolute shit

a death warrant being signed by the superficial shite soulless acts being booked to entertain the Starbucks/Costa/Topman V Festival crowds..

    death of a festival.

  4. he does talk a lot of carp - but in some ways he has to be a yes man - that's the way the bbc is sometimes...

fair play to him for trying to express his opinion

  5. Pyramid Field this morning was pretty horrible to see :(

As for my camping spot. 2 kind of groups that I'd see regularly to get to the path had left awful rubbish. Everyone else though were spotless. Hat tip to a lot of people in Kidney Mead :)

  6. it was like a wembley arena gig or something absolutely horrible and not for glastonbury imo. It needs to get back to rock n roll basics or at least slightly underground ish artists with credibilty

  7. I think it will have to be Radiohead on the Pyramid for sure

Then maybe Foo Fighters or Pearl Jam.

    Cant think of a 3rd

Maybe The Prodigy to headline the pyramid one night.

Other Stage - Maybe someone like the Foo Fighters, Tine Tempah and Pendulum
