Any idea when the showers open and close? Wouldn’t mind a 4am scrub! 😂
You should have been sent a link for a worthy view guide, that would probably have this information.
Sticklinch guide states: Showers will be open a minimum of 7:00am – 14:00pm and then 18:00pm – 23:00pm.

Clearly she's a legend, she's 78, Macca will be 80, it's pretty amazing it's even possible. Still not sure I can be bothered.

This thread goes to show the absolute variety and vitality of the line-up this year, nobody has to watch an act they don't wnat to see.
Exactly, re the variety. West Holts looks like quite a party all day on Sunday - Nightmares on Wax gonna be a good shin dig I reckon.

How can you not go hard on the Wednesday? Best place in the world, seeing old friends, giddy with excitement, the best and biggedt party on the fucking planet. And we’ve got a ticket. Don’t go too hard? Get to fuck.
I’ve got the other 360 days of the year to be sensible, clean my teeth and go to bed at a reasonable time with a cup of cocoa. 2 weeks today? Not a fucking chance.
The missus loves this post so much she keeps a screenshot of it on her phone in case she's having a bad day.
We love you Mardy, have a great festival!

Footwear debate is the biggest issue.
Totally. We are 5 people, 5 sets of boots and wet gear is a lot of extra luggage.
Leaving in 48 hours, gonna have to make a call on it.

You're right except if you're on a network that has data issues during the festival push notifications don't come through where as SMS tend to.
Worth having both. I've always been on Three. Can have full signal but zero data for patches. Tends to work well first thing in the morning and then tail off as people wake up and start using the network. With more TikTok and Insta load I suspect it will struggle this year.Good point.
Zapier won't give SMS to international mobiles so I'll just let my fate rest on the local networks, at least I have my pick of them.
-
You only need Zapier if you have a dumb phone with you at the festival.
If you have a smart phone, just follow @secretglasto on the Twitter app and set "Account notifications" to "All Tweets".

Hi!
we’re booked on one of the deisgnated coaches where you get your festival ticket once you are on the coach.my question is how does this work in practice?
so they literally take a register when you get on the coach?how militant are they about timings? I.E does it get 5 mins past your allotted time and they go, regardless of whether you are there or not?
of course we will get there early, and know our designated coach, I just get the feeling it sounds like a free for all?!
thanks!
You should have received your coach tickets by email by now.
You will have a designated coach, each coach has a passenger list, and the driver of the coach has the tickets for the passengers listed on their coach.
I was worried when I received coach tickets only for my wife and I, no mention of the kids. Obviously I want to see that they have seats allocated right? I contacted seeTickets who basically said "the kids on are on the passenger list don't worry". A week or 2 later came an automatic email to confirm how many kids and which coach they are on, but I got the impression they missed this and probably had so many enquiries about it that they had to rush out a quick mail merge email to everyone, it looked rushed and was without barcodes and such like.
You don't have to worry about it leaving on time if you are early. We are going to get there earlier than early, ie. if the car breaks down that is taking us then we still have time to call taxis.
-
Maybe just my experience, but when I contacted seeTickets about a coach tickets issue, they emailed me back within 24 hours, I thought that was pretty good.

I will be kitted out with powerbanks and a solar recharger, but we are a family of 5 and there is the possibility these will run dry, no matter how much I urge everyone to limit their phone use. 5 people x 5 days = muchos mAh.
It would still be nice to know how the recharging tent works.
Do you have to wait around while they charge, can't you just come back after a few hours?
Will they charge a powerbank? Ideal if they do this, when one powerbank is spent I could check it in and then pick it up later in the day.

I think Sigrid on JP is a bit crazy, I get that she fits well between Girl in Red and Pheobe Bridgers, but she's surely too big a name to put in a tent.

It takes loads but it's a bit hairy going down hills with a good load on as there are no brakes.
well I was going to ask if I could borrow it to put my 3 kids in, but maybe not then

50% of the acts across the board could be cancelled and it will still be a completely epic festival, that everybody has waited 2.5 years for and we need more than we know.
As long as me and my fam don't get it in a way that holds us back, and we've all but one had it before.
i wipe my arse with this thread.
those that miss the festival because they are too sick, god love you and see you next time.

It does seem to be quite specific about the service provision.
