Right this is complicated, the band consist of a guitarist, bass player, horn section and two guys who play drum kits, only sometimes they don’t one fiddles with a computer at times while the other takes vocal duties or does his thing on decks. Then there’s the music – well it’s a fusion of musical styles, much like the Balkans, mixing European, Meditterranean, Hungarian and Eastern music all at once to make something with zipping rhythms and repeated slabs of almost dub beats. Splash drums and horns over the top and some MCing, repeat the word ‘Jump’ and the result is a beaming, sweaty audience and a bemused reporter trying to describe what he’s bouncing his head to.
