Wychwood review

By Scott Williams | Published:

Infectious, traditional old African (guinea) music that keeps your ears happy. It’s wonderful music to listen to if a little hard to dance to, mainly because we are so unfamiliar with these rhythms. Not only that the kora is an instrument we don’t get to hear very often, let alone two of them in full flow. One of them appears to be an electric version with effects pedals overlaying the instrumentation to further enhance the sound. Very traditional, very World music and great to listen to at a festival. Sunday is clearly becoming the best day musically.
