Held over a large site, and offering a bill of predominantly commercial acts, crowd favourites, and radio friendly indie upstarts in a corporate festival atmosphere. V Festival returns on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st August 2011.

Line-up

The latest acts confirmed are Jaguar Skills, Goldie Lookin' Chain, Gomez, I Am Kloot, Morcheeba, The Airborne Toxic Event, Bellowhead, Chromeo, YasmIn, The Pierces, Frankmusik, Fenech-Soler, Beardyman, The Mummers, Maverick Sabre, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Alex Winston, Morning Parade, Fitz and the Tantrums, Alice Gold, Parade, Emma's Imagination, and Wolf Gang.

Headlined by Eminem on Saturday with Rihanna announced before him, and it's Arctic Monkeys on Sunday with Plan B appearing before them. Tickets

Early bird tickets have sold out. Tickets have SOLD OUT they were priced at £175 for a weekend pass with camping, and £149 weekend pass without camping. A day ticket was priced at £83.50, and a campervan pass is priced at £99. Only VIP Luxury packages are still available.

Weekend tickets are now available, they are priced at £149 and do not include camping. Tickets are limited to four per person, and must be collected from the venue.

With a capacity of 90,000 the site will open (for weekend campers) from 10am Friday until midday Monday. The arena will be open from 12 noon on Saturday and Sunday to 11pm. Weekend Ticket holders (camping and non camping) should exchange their tickets for wristbands at the wristband exchange tent. Day ticket holders do not need to exchange their tickets for a wristband.

Car parking

Car parking will be available on site at around £10 per car, or there is a park and ride scheme from Telford. Camper vans are allowed on site, the ticket prices for which have not yet been announced. The Big Green Coach will be expected to run coaches into the two sites from destinations across the UK.

Please note for both festival sites 1 campervan pitch is for a campervan, caravan or camping trailer and a maximum of 4 persons per pitch. There are no tents, cars or vans allowed in the campervan site.

Restrictions

There are to be no campfires and no glass allowed on site. No alcohol is permitted to be taken into the arena. The only containers permitted in the arena will be those carrying non alcoholic liquid in collapsible plastic, foil or cardboard forms of not more than 1 litre.

Bars

The bars are operated on a token system. Tokens are purchased from the token booths then exchanged at the bar for drinks. Some token booths will remain open for 1 hour after the bars have closed so vouchers can be redeemed.

Lockers

Lockers are situated outside the arena by Gate 3, prices are as displayed.
