Offering a bill of predominantly commercial acts, crowd favourites, and radio friendly indie upstarts in a party atmosphere. V Festival returns on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd August 2010.


Kings of Leon headline Saturday, and Kasabian will headline Sunday with Stereophonics, Faithless, The Prodigy, David Guetta, Doves, Calvin Harris, The Kooks, Paul Weller, Paolo Nutini, Florence And The Machine, Pet Shop Boys, Cheryl Cole, Madness, Editors, White Lies, Mika, Groove Armada, The Courteeners, The Charlatans, The Temper Trap, Amy Macdonald, Goldfrapp, Shed Seven, Newton Faulkner, La Roux, Skunk Anansie, Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding, Paloma Faith, Plan B, Sugababes, and Pixie Lott. Tickets are now only available for coach travel. Tickets were priced at £165 for a weekend pass with camping, £140 for a weekend pass without camping, and £78.50 for a day ticket.

New area

The Mansion, an area dedicated to giving festival-goers access to laptops, free Wi-Fi, gaming and 3DTV services. It will also have power points for phone charging, and live performances from guest DJs through the entire weekend.

Big Green Coach

This year festival goers can get their hands on coach and festival tickets in one transaction by purchasing via Big Green Coach, www.biggreencoach.co.uk, who will also be helping festival- goers reduce their carbon footprint to the festival.

Opening times

With a capacity of 90,000 the site is open (for weekend campers) from 10am Friday until midday Monday. On Saturday and Sunday the arena will open at 12 noon and close at 11pm (when the bands finish).

Weekend with camping ticket holders must exchange their ticket for a wristband at the wristband exchange tent. Both weekend ticket holders (without camping) and day ticket holders do not need to exchange their tickets.

Please note, if you have a weekend ticket (without camping) then your ticket will consist of three parts. The left hand section is to be handed in to the stewards at the gate on Saturday, the right hand on Sunday and the centre is to be retained by yourself. Do not lose any of these sections as you will not be granted admittance and duplicate tickets will not be issued.


There is ample parking on the festival site.

Please note for both festival sites 1 campervan pitch is for a campervan, caravan or camping trailer and a maximum of 4 persons per pitch. There are no tents, cars or vans allowed in the campervan site.


There are to be no campfires and no glass allowed on site. No alcohol is permitted to be taken into the arena. The only containers permitted in the arena will be those carrying non alcoholic liquid in collapsible plastic, foil or cardboard forms of not more than 1 litre.


The bars are operated on a token system. Tokens are purchased from the token booths then exchanged at the bar for drinks. Some token booths will remain open for 1 hour after the bars have closed so vouchers can be redeemed.


Lockers are situated outside the arena by Gate 3, prices are as displayed.
