The Kaiser Chiefs have had a very successful twelve months, and have gained an incredible reputation for being an incredible live act. And they demonstrated why they have that reputation with a performance that stunned everybody.

The Channel Four stage was absolutely rammed for their set, leaving all of the other artistes on the other stages with very low attendance.

Vocalist Ricky Wilson managed to still bounce around like a psychopath in desperate need for the toilet despite the fact his leg is still in a plaster cast. He arrived on stage on a set of crutches, but just tossed them away as the band kicked in with the music.

The energy from both the band and the audience was immense, everybody was bouncing up and down along to the infectious melodies of tracks like ‘Everyday I love You Less and Less” which is ironic considering that people seem to be loving the Kaiser Chiefs more and more everyday. Naturally their biggest hit so far ‘I Predict a Riot’ generated an incredible amount of jumping around throughout the impressively sized crowd!

Without a doubt, we have just witnessed a future headlining band!
