Probably the biggest surprise of the weekend was The Distillers, now I had never heard them until this weekend and so I thought I would go and check these out.

So The Distillers arrived on stage to a thunderous cheer, they have a female lead singer, I think her name is Brodie Armstrong, and she just oozes shit loads of attitude, but in all the right places, unlike a certain other female who’s made her way into the limelight because her father was in a rock band.

The Distillers

The entire band played as if this gig meant the world to them, and any artist that has that much enthusiasm deserves my attention. If you are into punk rock, then you really must catch these live.

Please accept my apologies has I know none of their songs, however next time they play live, you can bet that I will have listened to their album so much that I will know the songs inside out.
