Moby came on stage and proceeded to run around wildly - almost maniacally, The second tune in was 'porcelain', his latest single, and then another softer tune 'Find my baby' which Moby seemed to want to get done early as he was planning to build up the set to a grand finale.

Having played most of the festivals this summer the format of the show has been established and at the end of each tune he simply repeats 'thank you, thank you, thank you,' several times which can be amusing or can sound like he's bored, especially when we know he can come out with far more interesting things to say. The tunes themselves, however, were performed with energy, a couple of older ones, 'Go' and his mix of the James Bond theme went down very well with the crowd and the madly flashing lighting adding to the atmosphere.

The tempo was brought down again with a beautiful rendition of 'Why does my heart feel so bad' with Moby playing keyboards, and 'Natural blues' sung very slowly and beautifully by Diane Charlemaine(?) with turquoise and white lights shining out over the crowd.

However, I felt that the crowd around me near the front were not into dreamy sounds and were almost losing interest...... Just in time Moby announced he was going to play a 'sexy little number' and Bodyrock slammed in followed by Honey with Moby running around wildly again between edge of stage, keyboards and bongos, which he is extremely good on, and he had us all jumping.

They all left the stage but it didn't take much shouting to get them back again for their planned finale.

First another version of 'Porcelain' with just Moby singing with acoustic guitar, very mellow with the crowd singing along, and then the "fastest song ever made - Thousand'.

This was performed by Moby alone. He removed his shirt and took up his statue position, centre stage, with turquoise and white strobe lights flashing faster and faster with the music. You had to see it really but it certainly made a spectacular ending to the weekend.
