V2000 (Chelmsford) 2000

Million $ question: Are Coldplay the next big thing or the next big thong (ie pants). Well alot of people turned out at V2000 to find out and Coldplay were Cooool.

They have a great (although not unique) sound and good songs to sing.

Chris Martin, lead vocals and guitar, banters with the vast crowd as though he was down the local on a Friday night.

I missed some of the set 'cause I am just Stupid, Stupid, STUPID, but luckily I was still treated to the band playing "Shiver", "Don't Panic", "Trouble", the cracking "Everything's not Lost" as well as the one you might of heard "Yellow".

Just one small criticism lads, don't be so humble you really are as good as they say!
