Towerfest 2013

Towerfest is an annual country music festival held in the grounds of Drax Power Station, in Yorkshire. Now in it's seventh year the event offers festival goers the chance to relive the wild wild west for three days from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June 2013. Three days of country music and line dancing with thirteen live acts plus DJ and Compere to keep it all in full swing. Camping and caravanning facilities available on site.

Two Card Trick, Sarah Jory & her band, Nicky Gillis & Her Band, Gambler Duo, The Boomer McLennan Band, Henry Smiths Country Dreams, Paris Texas, Dave Bryan, Chris Raddings, Lynnette Marie, Gary Perkins And The Breeze, The Gone Country Band, and Arizona Flame.

A Full Weekend Pass is priced at £40, a Saturday & Sunday ticket is priced at £38. A Friday Night only ticket is priced at £5, with a day ticket for Saturday or Sunday only are priced at £19. To download a booking form (in PDF format), click here.

This will be the seventh Towerfest festival and it becomes more and more popular each year. The festival offers a chance to join their westerners in a competitive shootout, rifle shooting, knife throwing, horse shoe throwing and much more. With all the proceeds from their events going to a nominated charity.

Before the last act on the Sunday evening the westerners march into the arena in full military uniforms to perform a traditional commemoration to the American Civil War.

Many trade stands surround the arena with authentic western goods and trinkets. The site also has a fully licensed club.

Day visitors will be made welcome on the gate Saturday and Sunday but can save money by booking in advance.
