Towerfest is an annual country music festival held in the grounds of Drax Power Station, in Yorkshire. Now in it's ninth year the event offers festival goers the chance to relive the wild wild west for three days from Friday 16th to Sunday 19th June 2016.

Three days of country music and line dancing with thirteen live acts plus DJ and Compere to keep it all in full swing. Camping and caravanning facilities available on site.

Line-up

Thursday Night In The Clubhouse: The Texas Tornados, and Dave Cash.

Friday Main Stage: Darren Knight, Paul Taylor, Texas Gun, Alan Gregory, The Luke And Mel Band, and The Fabulous Picasso Brothers.

Saturday Main Stage: Zenne Kober, Dave Cash, Chris Raddings, Jess And The Bandits, Gone Country, and Boomer McLennan And The Rhythm Rangers.

Sunday Main Stage: George McIntosh, Tara Henton, The Long Gone Daddies, Darren Busby, The Danny Lee Band, and Gary Perkins And The Breeze.

A Full Weekend Pass is priced at £50, a Saturday & Sunday ticket is priced at £38. A Thursday Night only ticket is priced at £5, with a day ticket for Friday, Saturday or Sunday only priced at £19. Live in vehicle passes are priced at £20.

The festival offers a chance to join their westerners in a competitive shootout, rifle shooting, knife throwing, horse shoe throwing and much more. With all the proceeds from their events going to a nominated charity.

Before the last act on the Sunday evening the westerners march into the arena in full military uniforms to perform a traditional commemoration to the American Civil War.

Many trade stands surround the arena with authentic western goods and trinkets. The site also has a fully licensed club.

Day visitors will be made welcome on the gate Saturday and Sunday but can save money by booking in advance.
