There's a select audience to watch Faith No More, with most people at the main stage for headliners Kings of Leon. The lateness of their arrival and the light show behind doesn't help this.

Opening bathed in red light, its a gentle melodica start from the red suited dapper Patton with 'Midnight cowboy'. They pound into 'From Out Of Nowhere'. Their distinct sound spills from the speakers, the crowd grows, and Patton takes up the megaphone.

The setlist reads like a night in front of the telly, with 'Eastenders', and 'Ashes to Ashes'. A terrific set also includes 'Easy', 'Last Cup Of Sorrow', and 'Epic' amongst the classic grunge hits. 'We Care A Lot' is absent from a set peppered with over a dozen memorable hits. A great climax to day one at Reading.

You can check out Faith No More doing 'Epic' and 'Eastenders' at Reading Festival for yourself - just play the videos below!
