Oh great the first three acts on the main stage have been abysmal as far as I’m concerned and at last it gets a bit better with this lot. A minute in and the lead singer gets a bottle to the head, going down like a sack of spuds and stopping the show. He gets back up. So I decide to give them a chance, although I wince as he suggests they try to hit the other side of his face too and it looks like he’ll have a shiner in the morning.

They burst into a cover of Radiohead’s Karma Police – a nice sing along even if the cover is a bit ropey in places. ‘Camisado’ has me warming to the band and their brand of keyboard punk is rather infectious – indeed it could be a fever I can’t sweat out.

Possibly being bottled was the best thing to happen to them, as it meant the audience gave them sympathy and they rose to the attention of the crowd. Certainly I doubt I’d have taken the time to listen to them otherwise.
