Ian Brown

REVIEW

By Luke Seagrave | Published:

July 12th 2002.

Ian Brown arrived on stage 15 minutes late due to technical difficulties, which unfortunately plagued his entire set.

Ian Brown
He looks like he hasn’t aged at all in the last ten years. He still stalks the stage expecting the audience to adore and appreciate him. But hey, he has had three very successful albums so he does have a right to be appreciated, no matter what your taste in music is.

He opened his set with 'Corpses', throughout this song Ian would burst into odd little dances that verge on looking ridiculous but somehow doesn’t because he is doing them.

During 'Love Like A Fountain' the guitar riff suddenly changed into 'Fools Gold', which received a huge roar of approval from the audience.

Sadly Ian Brown had to cut a lot of songs out due to the technical difficulties. However he managed to keep the crowd happy by finishing his set with 'My Star' and 'F.E.A.R'.
