As this is in the city centre you can find most high street food stalls, the new Trinity Walk shopping area has some food places, and there are plenty of takeaway places, including the famous pie shop.
Drink is at pub prices, so around £3.50 for a pint of cider, and cheaper prices for beer and spirits. With Ossett Brewery in the next town there are plenty of local ales to be hunted out too.
Again, cash machines are in ample supply in the city centre.
