With a cigarette still on the go, The Stills launch in to their set that can only be described as near perfect. Each song sounds more like a beautifully crafted sculpture than a simple piece of music that most people outside of this tent have never heard before.
Creating an atmosphere in the Radio One tent that almost makes the air feel tangible is not an easy task yet its pulled off not just with ease, but style as well. As the vocals soar through the crowd, everybodys attention is fixated- nobody is lokoing at their shoes and you truly know that the band are putting their all in to not just their music but their performance.
Many bands forget that they need to actually perform, but The Stills seem to focus on this above all else. If all else fails watch them just because the drums are at the side of the stage rather than the back. A nice change if nothing else.
