Sister Bliss

Homelands England 2000 review

By Skye Hi | Published:

Sister Bliss hit the decks in the Ericsson Make Yourself Heard Arena around 7pm and thumped it up from the start. Whistles were blown, arms were up and it was still daylight.

Strobe lighting and smoke came on to enhance the atmosphere as she took the crowd with her on waves of sound gently soaring in and out before slamming in again with the bass. Moving into a good drum rhythm with keyboards and lovely brass/trumpet sounds it became more bopping than banging, and people were pressing in all the time to hear it.

Almost to capacity now they were even dancing in the chill area - this was trance, serious stuff and it got louder. The changes were fast and frequent, perhaps too much so but with only 1½ hours you have to pack it in. The music soared up and away and the crowd loved it.

An interview with Sister Bliss at Homelands is available here.
