Within a very short walking distance you can use the leisure facilities of Guildford Spectrum, including swimming pools, ice-skating and bowling, as well as a cafe on site. It is well worth taking advanatge of these facilities as toilet queues at Guilfest can be a problem. For opening times and all other information regarding the Guilford Spectrum please visit here.
Guildford's outdoor swimming Lido is also just outside of the festival grounds and offers an easy break from the main festival site with a refreshing swim as well as a showering opportunity for the campers.
The town centre is less than a 20 minute walk away, with a very good selection of shops, pubs and eateries, cash point machines and anything else you might need. The best way to get to the town on foot (from the site) is to turn right onto London Road (A3100) and continue along that road until you reach the high street. Click here for a map of the area.
The bus station, and the two train stations, are about a 25 minute walk away. See the travel page for more information.
