Camping, Campervans & Accommodation

By Scott Williams | Published:

Camping

Campsite: accessible to "Weekend with Camping" ticket holders from 10am Thursday morning, and on Thursday night there will be a bar and a disco in the campsite before the main arena opens. Campsites must be vacated by midday Monday.

Camping is in a fenced areas outside the main arena. The same rules apply as for every festival: don't take what you can't afford to lose. Although they take every step possible to look after your camping gear whilst you are at GuilFest, safety of valuables cannot be guaranteed.

Disposable tinfoil BBQs are allowed, however open fires are not allowed on site. Campers are allowed to bring their own drinks to be consumed in the camping area but NO ALCOHOL is allowed to be brought into the main arena.

As well as a cafe the campsites offer water and flushing toilets. Campers can make use of the two nearby swimming pools the indoor Guildford Spectrum, and the Guildford Lido - a large open air swimming pool. Well recommended for those with families - bring your swimming stuff.

Campervans

Camper Van site: as campsite, although a Camper Van ticket is also required along with every person using the camper van having their own "Weekend with Camping" ticket.

Accomodation

For information on accommodation available in the area, telephone Guildford Tourist Information (01483 444333 or 01483 444334).
