Electric Picnic is like Ireland's answer to Glastonbury; it is an arts and boutique festival with bits of everything thrown in held at Stradbally, County Laois in the Republic of Ireland. The line up is more eclectic than say what would be at Oxygen.
The festival regularly sells out its 32,500 tickets early, having started as a on day event in 2004 before growing to a weekend-long festival in 2005, and becoming a three day affair in 2006.
