Long after the plummet of nu-metal, it would seem that the only way of survival was to establish legend status. Thankfully for Korn they had already achieved this at early days, otherwise would be pulled down into the void where many bands just disappeared.

Things begin on a bit of a bombshell. Members of the band minus Jonathon Davis come to the front and break the unfortunate news that he’s in hospital and unable to make the festival gig. However the rest of the band get together and intend to team up with a number of different artists in replacement for a short set.

Whilst flying the Korn flag, we got to see some of the best impressions as the artists all sung in the style of Jonathon Davis. A historical moment came when Corey Taylor got up to sing a couple of songs, including Freak On A Leash and considering both the band and his histories, this wasn’t something short of special. Having the vocalists from Avenged Sevenfold and Trivium also looked and sounded good, signifying the old and new onstage together and a good glimpse of the future.
