Bullet For My Valentine

Download Festival 2006 review

By Luke Seagrave | Published:

Bullet For My Valentine have taken the UK (and the rest of the world) by storm. Lots of front coverage and with the musical direction moving in their favour, it would be hard to argue otherwise.

This is the third time playing at the Download festival and marks their first time on the main stage, and a great opportunity for the Welsh born metalers. There’s certainly no messing about. The songs are loud and exciting, the band sound sharp! Imagine the product of a metal and emo love affair and you’ll get a rough idea.

Again, here’s a band that pays respect to the old schools of heavy metal. Banging out some decent heavy guitar solos. A great cheer from the crowd speaks louder than any words. Next year could see them on top of this new wave!
