Avenged Sevenfold

They’re loud, they’re nasty, and Avenged Sevenfold are fastly becoming a dominant force. Much of their momentum has been gained since modifying their sound to accommodate a wider target audience. It’s clear that they’re on to something good.

Making their way onstage to what sounds like the Beatlejuice theme and holding up England football shirts, which the singer has tailored to suit the whole rock look by cleverly chopping off the arms to reveal an impressive array of tattoos. In fact the whole band are covered in them, which adds to the fact that what we’ve got here is a band that actually look like rock stars. Equally important Avenged Sevenfold have the matching attitude.

Onstage they certainly don’t hold back, have a fantastic live bite and resulting impact that blows the crowd away. The band work remarkably well together, especially during the joint and switching vocal sections. With lots of material to choose from and all round great songs, especially Beast and Harlot, Avenged Sevenfold are well worthy of main stage, and maybe soon headliners.

Paying tribute to Dimebag Darrell of Pantera by covering ‘Walk,’ the crowd goes nuts and everyone joins in at the chorus.

Throughout the set they put on a great display of talents and non-stop thrills. This is largely down to band members working extremely well together and jointly focused on their overall sound. Avenged Sevenfold have every potential of becoming a monster!
