The Clun Green Man Festival is a traditional springtime festival, held over the first May Bank Holiday of the year from Saturday 3rd until to Monday 5th May 2014. The Festival takes place in the town of Clun in South Shropshire. The programme is full of live music, drama, and medieval malarkey and fun for all the family.

Line-up

The Rhythm Thieves, Naomi Payne Hotsy Totsy Band, AT James, Les Amis D'onno, the Clun Mummers, Animal Man, Sylvesta the Jester, Jack the Jester, and of course Morris Dancing.

The programme includes live music, drama, colour and medieval malarkey, a Monday procession through the town, and the dramatic battle between the Green Man and The Frost Queen, the Spirit of Winter, fought out on Clun Bridge. The Green Man must win if they are to have a Summer in Clun! 

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £5 Adults, Accompanied Children £1, under age 6 free.

Saturday is the Childrens Daytime Workshop at Clun Memorial Hall where the kids make something to wear to join in with the Monday procession. These Workshops are Free!
