Headliners Chase & Status lead the latest wave of acts to be announced for Down To The Woods which replaces its predecessor of three years, Hardwick Live and is held on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th August at Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield, in County Durham.

They'll top a line-up that also includes Catfish & The Bottlemen, Vant, Clean Cut Kid, The Selecter, and The Jacques.

Headliners Primal Scream, as well as Echo and the Bunnymen were the first acts to be announced.

The Foxes Folly Stage will be headlined by The Sunshine Underground, and Peter Hook and the Light. Other acts set to appear during the weekend include KLOE, Holy Esque, Pixel Fix, Kagoule, Fronteers, White, Inheaven, Neon Waltz, No Hot Ashes, Tempesst, The Americas, The Barmines, Weekend Sun, Broken Witt Rebels, The White Negroes, Joe Crookall, and Joe Treacy, with even more acts to be announced soon.

The line-up for a third stage, Badgers Den, will also be announced in the coming weeks, with a focus on live comedy and DJs.

"Chase & Status haven’t performed live in this set up for a number of years," said event organiser Jonathan Woodliffe, "so it’s a massive coup for us to bag them for Down To The Woods and let our festival-goers enjoy a superb festival at an incredibly affordable price."

Hardwick Live sold out this year and the new event promises to deliver heritage and new acts, plus comedy, dance DJs, spoken word, art and more than one or two surprises. Early bird tickets for Down To The Woods 2016 already sold out even before any of the line-up had been revealed.
