Jah Wobble's Invaders Of The Heart, CoCo and the Butterfields, and Gentlemen Of Few lead the latest additions for Maidstone Fringe Festival, now in its sixth year, takes place over multiple venues in Maidstone, Kent over 5 days from Thursday 28th April until Monday 2nd May 2016. The majority of events are FREE, with some cover charge events.

Also newly confirmed are No Limit Street Band, Sensi Soundsystem, Daniel Son, The Florescents, Nocturne Blonde, Ben Russell and The Charmers, Nick Harper, Lapis Lazuli, Goosebumps, Exoskeletons, Gang, Inevitable Daydream, Radidas, John Forrester, The Boogie Doctors Feat Lewis Ellen, Ben Mills, David Howard, One Day Elliott, One Step Behind, Dorey the Wise, Thomas D Palmar, Emilia, Rosie Ord, Hoi Polloi, The Bay Rays, Rhonda And The Great Unknown, Oskar Vilcrow, The Narratones, Smalltown Missfits, Rude Rich & The Highnotes, The Scorchers, Skabretta, Longshot Sounds, Lady Luck & The Late Night Players, King Size Slim, Undecided Prophecy, and The Bay Rays.

They join the previously announced Dennis Bovell, Funke and the Two Tone Baby, Salvation Jayne, Flawless Carbon, Bandicoot, The Dredgermen, UpCDownC, Theatre Royal, Jodys Flat, Aux, David Migden And The Twisted Roots, Toby Starks & Friends, and Vaughan Batchelor.

Focused predominately on music, but also including comedy & street entertainers, the festival, and the musical focus is from rock, indie and pop-punk, through to acoustic and blues acts, contemporary folk, funk, soul, dance and hip-hop. Though a large percentage of the acts are from the South East & Kent, they do welcome performers from across the UK.

Venues confirmed to date include: The Style & Winch, Earls, The Druids Arms, The Flowerpot, The Source Bar, Drakes, The White Horse, The Art Lounge, The Music Room - Pizza Express, The Art Lounge, The Royal Albion, The Pilot, Frederic, The Rifle Volunteers And the Social Chill Bar.

Incorporated within the festival are a number of all-day events and dance all-nighters, as well as family friendly entertainment in Jubilee Square and cafes and coffee shops in the Town Centre, with much of the music being free to attend!
