Maidstone Fringe Festival, now in its sixth year, takes place over multiple venues in Maidstone, Kent over 5 days from Thursday 3rd until Monday 7th May 2018. The majority of events are FREE, with some cover charge events.

Line-up

Artists confirmed to play so far include: Coco & The Butterfields, Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols / Rich Kids), Toot N Skamen, David Migden & The Twisted Roots, Hullabaloo, Funke & The 2 Tone Baby, Best Intentions, We Are Bandicoot, Witchdoctor, No Limits Street Band, TV Smith, Native Oyster Band, Upcdownc, Radidas, Clea Llewellyn, The Devils Prefects, Moviestar (Norway), and more, with many more still to be announced.

What's on?

Focused predominately on music, but also including comedy & street entertainers, it has a wide mixture of music from rock, indie and pop-punk, through to acoustic and blues acts, ska and reggae, contemporary folk, funk, soul, dance and hip-hop. Though a large percentage of the acts are from the South East & Kent, they do welcome performers from across the UK.

Venues confirmed so far are: The Style & Winch, The Bierkeller, 4 Degrees, The Druids Arms, The Flowerpot, Café Bruges, The Stag, Drakes, The White Horse, The Cellars, Pizza Express Live, The Royal Albion, Frederic, The Duke Of Marlborough and The Social Chill Bar.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

Incorporated within the festival are a number of all-day events and dance all-nighters, as well as family friendly entertainment in Jubilee Square and cafes and coffee shops in the Town Centre, with much of the music being free to attend!
