first wave of acts announced for Holland's Lowlands

Headliners Disclosure, LCD Soundsystem, The Last Shadow Puppets, Oscar & The Wolf, Sigur Ros (previously unveiled), and Eagles Of Death Metal lead the first acts for the line-up for A Camping Flight To Lowlands Paradise held from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st August 2016 in Biddinghuizen, which is a town in the Dutch province of Flevoland.

The event offers three days of alternative music, as well as a complete programme of stand-up comedy, film, visual arts, literature and (street) theatre.

Also confirmed are Chvrches, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, Damian Marley, Flatbush Zombies, Ghost, Jamie Woon, M83, Oh Wonder, Paul Kalkbrenner, Philip Glass Ensemble - Koyaanisqatsi Live!, Recondite, Rodhad, Sleeping With Sirens, Sum 41, Tale Of Us, Aurora, The Black Madonna, Dr Krapula, Dub Inc., Espana Circo Este, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Giraffage, Islam Chipsy, Mick Jenkins, The Rumjacks, Tiggs Da Author, and Sevn Alias.

The festival plays host to 55,000 attendees, several hundred performances divided over three areas and eight stages, many bars and global restaurants, a market, hippie hangouts, campsites with showers, a radio station, a daily newspaper, and a unique currency.

Three Day Early Bird tickets to Lowlands including shuttle, camping and service charges, will be available for £120 from the 6th February.
