The ethos of the festival is pretty simple - having a great time, with your friends ( both old and new) against a beautiful Westcountry backdrop. They have brilliant good-time bands, booked - some you'll have heard of, some not - all are of excellent quality.

Once Upon a Time in The West is run by Ten Gallon Events Ltd. They have worked on many of the classic festivals in the West and all over the country, and have visited even more of them as working musicians and specialist writers. The West Country has been the home for the finest festivals in Britain: Stonehenge to Glastonbury, Elephant Fair to WoMaD, Bath Festival of Blues to the Green Gatherings. All great and groundbreaking events and as a result of this, many of the most experienced and thus most laidback festival crew are Westcountry people too. A big part of the idea of OUTWest is to be UltraWest, and Way Out West (WOW!) focuses on the great talent and top Festival fixtures that are on offer in the Westcountry. And the cider, of course..
