With the first day of BST starting today, the British Summer Time festival becomes Black Sabbath Time for this the 2nd edition happening in Hyde Park in London which will run from Friday 4th until Sunday 13th July 2014.
Black Sabbath will headline the opening day of the festival on Friday 4th July with a supporting cast that includes Soundgarden, Faith No More, Motorhead, Soulfly, Gallows, Hell, Kobra And The Lotus, Bo Ningen, Rise To Remain, Broken Hands, Wolfmother, The Bots, The Graveltones, Hang the Bastard, A Plastic Rose, Rise To Remain, Blitz Kids, The Struts, and The First.
Acts appear across four stages: the main Great Oak Stage, The Theatre, Village Hall and Bandstand.
Tickets for Black Sabbath's day will go on sale at 9am on Friday 4th April,and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.
McBusted headline on Sunday 6th July with special guests The Backstreet Boys, Scouting for Girls, & Diversity. Joining them are Lawson, Five, Neon Jungle, Elyar Fox, Ollie Marland, George Barnett, Joel Baker, and Mike Dignam.
Neil Young and Crazy Horse headline on Saturday 12th July with Half Moon Run, Lucy Rose, Ethan Johns, The Webb Sisters, Jack Savoretti, To Kill A King, and Hero Fisher. They are added to a line-up that already includes The National, Tom Odell, Caitlin Rose, Phosphorescent and Flyte.
Again in 2014 weekend will be linked by a midweek programme of diverse entertainment, accessible for all to enjoy. From Monday to Thursday, the entire Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park site, except for the main stage, will give visitors the chance to get involved with smaller, more intimate events in the areas of film, music, literature and sport.
