Twisterella Festival is one-day event which takes place at multiple venues in the Southfield Road & Linthorpe Road area of Middlesbrough. Now in its ninth year, Middlesbrough's forward-thinking music festival will take place on Saturday 14th October
As well as all the live music on offer, Twisterella will host its own (un)Conference; a vital, inclusive forum which brings key figures from across the music industry together.

Twisterella Festival is the creation of Middlesbrough independent music promoters, The Kids Are Solid Gold and Pay for the Piano. With all of the venues less than a 5 minute walk from one another, the 1,250 capacity multi-venue metropolitan music festival utilises established stages such as Teesside University Students' Union, The Townhouse, TSOne and The Westgarth Social Club, along with pop-up sessions in some of the town's bars in nearby Baker Street and Bedford Street.

The event is designed to showcase the brightest emerging national and international music talent and will also give a platform to a select number of local and regional acts who are ready to make the step up to the big stage.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
