Twisterella Festival is one-day event which takes place at multiple venues in the Southfield Road & Linthorpe Road area of Middlesbrough. Now in its 10th year, Middlesbrough's forward-thinking music festival will take place on Saturday 12th October
As well as all the live music on offer, Twisterella will host its own (un)Conference; a vital, inclusive forum which brings key figures from across the music industry together.

Line-up

Leading the special anniversary edition are Belfast post-punk trio Chalk, noisy Norwegians Pom Poko, and Durham's indie-pop favourites Martha, along with an impressive supporting cast of talent from the local area and further afield, including local Middlesbrough heroes Be Quiet. Shout Loud!, who will emerge from a five year hiatus to perform at Twisterella, marking a decade since they played the very first edition of the festival back in 2014.

Also confirmed are Brodie Milner, Fiona-Lee, Make Friends, Melanie Baker, Moon Wax, Pet Snake, Provenance, The Joshua Hotel, Velkro, Amelia Coburn, The Manatees and Sunflower Thieves in addition to many local artists such as Sun King, GANS and Shakk.

For details as available please see the line-up page.

More info

Twisterella Festival is the creation of Middlesbrough independent music promoters, The Kids Are Solid Gold and Pay for the Piano. With all of the venues less than a 5 minute walk from one another, the 1,250 capacity multi-venue metropolitan music festival utilises established stages such as Teesside University Students' Union, The Townhouse, TSOne and The Westgarth Social Club, along with pop-up sessions in some of the town's bars in nearby Baker Street and Bedford Street.

The event is designed to showcase the brightest emerging national and international music talent and will also give a platform to a select number of local and regional acts who are ready to make the step up to the big stage.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

More information will be here when available.
