The OX4 Festival takes place on Saturday 10th October 2009, across more than ten venues along the Cowley Road, in Oxford.

The line-up includes The Big Pink, Stornoway, Jonquil, Witches, This Town Needs Guns, The Original Rabbit Foot Spasm, Baby Gravy, UTE, Dial F For Frankenstein, Dusty And The Dreaming Spires. The Oxford Folk festival part of the event will be announcing their line-up soon as will the Free Beer Show.

The festival also showcases an array of local talents emerging in cinema, comedy, poetry, art, theatre and music whilst also showcasing a truly unique part of Oxford - The Cowley Road.

Tickets are just £15 or £12 for those Under 18. This will give you access to everything that's happening, as well as discounts up and down the road over the day. To buy tickets, click here.

Workshops include making a music video in one afternoon, design the sleeve for The Magic Numbers' new lp, record a hit single in our mobile studio, write a film script, song writing, and band speed dating.

Venues Include The 02 Academy, East Oxford Community Centre, The Bullingdon Arms, Restore Garden, Baby Simple, Trees Lounge, Cafe Tarifa, Cafe Milano Basement, Restore Garden, The Brickworks, and G&D's.

The event also has the Un-Convention: Music promoters from across the Country will be attending OX4 - as it plays host Oxford's first Un-convention. Un-convention is a new music industry event. It's about being independent. It's about facing up to the current changing music scene and looking for innovative and creative solutions. It's about discussion, debate and most of all meeting new people with different perspectives and sharing knowledge, experience and contacts.
