UpRise Anti-Racism Music Festival is a new FREE festival born out of the ashes of the former Rise festival, held at Finsbury Park on Sunday 3rd October 2010.

Line-up

The line-up for the day includes Ty, Imaani, Nathan 'flutebox' Lee, United Vibrations, Natty, Jimmy Screech,WanDan, Maracatu Estrela do Norte, Jally Keba Susso, Sanchita Farruque, Step 13, DJ Rita Ray, DJ Ritu and more.

On site

UpRise is a free festival for all the family, featuring live music, visual art, inspirational speakers, food stalls, a licensed bar and the community in action.

Spirit

Taking on the spirit and ideals of Rise, the UpRise Anti-racism festival will use the universal language of music and the arts to celebrate the commonalities of London's rich cultures and at the last count, the 250 languages spoken in the capital.

UpRise is now a people's festival that continues the legacy of Rise, to promote the belief that London lead in the cause to eradicate racism, and promote unity as one people.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
